Incredibly low inventory will make the current real estate market a seller’s market for several months maybe even years so buyers need to be diligent and patient.  Only consider homes you know you truly want, don’t settle.  Over asking price is the “norm” so your highest and best is advisable right from the start.  Not many sellers are willing to counter offer.  Look at price ranges under your comfort zone.

Are you handy or a “do it yourselfer”?  Find the diamond in the ruff and you’ll have a little less competition but remember cash is king and there are a lot of “flippers” with cash out there.
